It is no secret that Sam Solakyan has a passion for helping and caring for our nation's children, specifically in the greater Los Angeles area. One of the many roles he has taken on is on the board of directors for Glendale Healthy Kids. The organization envisions a community in which every child has optimal health. Their mission is to provide affordable or no cost quality healthcare to children who are under-insured or are uninsured altogether. The organization was formed in 1993 when the city of Glendale came together with Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, Verdugo Hills Hospital, Glendale Adventist Medical Center, and Glendale Unified School District.
